16 block table topper
         Focus Fabric
         16 – 1.5” x 3” Rectangle
         16 – 1.5” Square
         2 – 2.5” Square

Background
         16 – 1.5” x 3” Rectangle
         16 – 1.5” Square
         2 – 2.5” Square
         3 – 1.5 x WOF (Outside border)

25 block table topper
         Focus Fabric
         20 – 1.5” x 3” Rectangle
         20 – 1.5” Square
         2 – 2.5” Square

Background
         20 – 1.5” x 3” Rectangle
         20 – 1.5” Square
         2 – 2.5” Square
         3 – 1.5 x WOF (Outside border)

I cut a 3” strip and subcut the 1.5” wide rectangles and squares from it. Next I trimmed out the 2.5” squares. This allowed me to have a larger scrap left so if you want to consider this, you can get 26 rectangles out of a 40” wide strip so you would want 2 if making the 25 block table topper.

For the larger blocks:

Count the number of outside block sides you have around the quilt. You will want 1 square and rectangle per block of EACH of the focus and background fabrics

7” finished block
         Rectangles 2” x 4”
         Square 2” x 2”
2 – 3” squares of each focus and background
         Background – For outer border

8” finished block
         Rectangles 2.5” x 5”
         Square 2.5” x 5”
2 – 3.5” squares of each focus and background
         Background – For outer border
