Flights of Fancy Pattern

Flying Geese is one of my favorite blocks. They have a part to play
in any kind of quilt – Traditional, Modern, Geometric, 3D,
Whimsical, Architectural, Rigid, Freeform, Abstract or Realistic.
This is one of the blocks I make when I’m tired and just want to sew
but don’t want to have to think to hard about it. I also make extras any time I’m making geese for a quilt. A really nice thing about this block is that it can be trimmed down to a smaller size in the future so it stays very flexible. I quilted it with a water pattern because it made me think of clouds streaming by my birds.
