Sew strip set segments together. (4 of each to create 8 triangles)
- Set 1 to set 4, then add the dark cut triangle
- Set 2 to set 3, then add the light cut triangle
Sew the triangles you have created together with strip sets 1 and 2 touching. Press seam open.
Sew the 4 triangles you have created to each other to complete the block. You can easily match up the seams since they will be mirroring each other so the seams will be stacked. Press seams open.
If desired, decorate the center of the block. You can use a yo-yo, a flower, or even a simple appliquéd circle.
If, in the creation, your block is slightly over or undersized, you can simply resew the last 3 seams to tighten up or widen the size.
